I was responsible for the project portion of the WTP program for students from a high school in Hong Kong. For this project, I adapted the college level program for the electronics class that I TA’d to be at an appropriate level for high schoolers. I created resources and lectures for the program as well as led the instructional team through running the program. Many of the high school students had little electronics or computer science background prior to the start of the program. In the week long program, I taught basic C++, breadboarding, microcontrollers, PWM, basic sensing, bang band control, and an introduction to proportional control to build line following robots. For most of the students, English was their second language.
