Motivation:
I used this project to run a class to teach people how to approach new projects.
Description:
This lamp is MIG welded from steel chain. It was then sanded down to make it shinier. If I had more time to work on this, I would have worked harder to hide my welds and taken some scotch brite to clean up the insides of the chains that the air sander couldn’t reach.
Lessons Learned:
Use the sanding disks on the steel first, not the angle grinder. Steel chain is also hard to clamp.
